Arby’s was founded in Boardman, Ohio in 1964 by two brothers, Forest and Leroy Raffel. To name their new venture, the brothers decided on Arby's, which stands for R.B., the initials of the Raffel Brothers.
United States Beef Corporation was founded in 1969 by Bob and Connie Davis, opening their first store in Tulsa, Oklahoma. U.S. Beef has earned the reputation of striving to ensure a superior fast food dining experience by providing the highest quality food and
friendliest service in a clean and relaxed atmosphere. The success formula the Davis family used to build U.S. Beef into the largest Arby’s franchise in the world relied on hiring employees who shared the same work ethic and integrity to create a high performance culture.
The company currently has over 275 Arby’s restaurants in Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, Illinois, Colorado, and Missouri and 6 Taco Bueno locations in Northwest Arkansas, with over 7,000 employees.
