Preventative maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems of automation equipment and high bay cranes in a foodservice distribution environment. Night shift.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Allen Bradley or other PLCS.
3PH, 48OV, 277V, 24OV, 12V and transformers.
Relays, contactors, starters, fuses, capacitors, and solenoids.
Carpentry, plumbing, welding, and electrical jobs asassigned.
Operates; bench lathe, milling machine, punch press, drill press.
Assembles wires, insulation, and electrical components; resistors, capacitors.
Electrical assemblies and hardware in housings.
Experience in circuit continuity and operational reliability.
Understand all policies, procedures, instructions, rules and regulations (including all safety training and safety information) associated with this position in English. Appropriately respond, where needed, provide reports, presentations, information or communications in English.
High school diploma or (GED); five years related experience. Valid Drivers License.
Regularly required to walk, talk or hear, and taste or smell. Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally required to stand and sit. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. Could be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places (reaching 100+ feet); fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat; and vibration. Noise level usually loud.
