They go out of their way to make sure that even the youngest, future shoppers are spoiled with delicious treats like a free bakery cookie or a package of Smarties. The children enjoy these treats while cruising around in one of Macey's fun kid carts. One important team member spends a lot of his spare time eating bananas and swinging in trees and his name is Kong.
Kong was introduced as the new mascot in 2012, replacing the Macey's Moose from years past, and is now a BIG part of the Macey's team. Team members are always looking for ways to make the shopping experience fun with things like samples, Kid's Candy Carnival and tailgating events, just to name a few. And one event that people wait for all year long is the Gigantic Case Lot sale that makes Maceys the Place to buy the Case! All these factors and more are what help Maceys provide a happy shopping experience to guests both young and old.
