The goal of the Retail IT Business Analyst position is to provide outstanding support to our store operations personnel in their use of our point of sale applications, so they can continue to provide outstanding service to our customers. You will also be supporting our Sales Force, Marketing, and Executive leadership teams in their use of business intelligence tools, as they navigate a course for growing revenue and profitability.


We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:


  • In depth understanding of retail business operations and extensive experience with Point of Sale (POS) applications such as Tomax Retail.Net, CRM applications such as, and Business Intelligence (BI) applications such as PivotLink.
  • Proven Project Management skills with the ability to lead project teams, drive for results, and participate effectively on cross functional teams.
  • Ability to understand business issues, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide effective technology solutions.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks, to implement new applications and provide day to day problem solving and support.
  • Excellent technical, analytical, and diagnostics skills, and effective problem management skills.
  • Solid experience with relational SQL DBMS such as Oracle, and Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) tools such as Boomi or Informatica. Experience with B2B information exchange a plus.
  • Effective interpersonal and relationship management skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, with the knack to tailor method and style to the audience and situation
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • In depth understanding of the ITIL framework, with certification preferred.
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.




Job Responsibilities:


  • Provide day to day application support and development, ensuring high-quality IT services and support to Kelly-Moore Store Operations, Field Sales Force, Marketing, and Executive leadership.
  • Provide support and guidance to end users in the selection, procurement, use, and maintenance of applications.
  • Work with site and corporate management to establish and maintain project priorities, communicate project and activity status, and manage service issues.
  • Manage and maintain “end-to-end” ownership of assigned technologies and services.
  • Manage and maintain assigned IT programs, processes and documentation.
  • Document all incidents, requests, problems, change requests, knowledge and configuration items in the designated ticketing system; ensure all tickets are complete and up to date.
  • Maintain policies and controls to ensure data integrity, security, and legal/regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain relationships with consultants, technical personnel and vendors for services and products, and monitor/manage results to service agreements.
  • Escalate issues to management as appropriate for business impact.
