Job Title: Manager
Summary: Assist in the operation of a single unit restaurant for KC Hopps Ltd. Meet prescribed cost control area, learn annual budgets and exceed all standards of cleanliness and organization while providing customers with an exceptional dinning and entertaining experience.

Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or at least 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience if hired from outside the company.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as order tickets, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, cost controls and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software and Inventory software.
Certificates and Licenses:
ServSafe certification must be obtained. In the city of Kansas City and North Kansas City, Missouri, a food handler’s card and liquor card must also be obtained.
Directly supervises 10+ employees in the restaurant. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is may be exposed to extreme heat (non-weather). The employee is occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; risk of radiation and vibration.

This position requires a minimum work schedule of 50. Longer hours may be required to accomplish all responsibilities.
