Job Title: Host
Division: KC Hopps
Summary: Hosts first priority is to take care of the guest as outlined in the KC Hopps training manual. Hosts need to greet all guests in a friendly manner and tell all guests “thanks” when the guests are exiting the building. Hosts are the first impression a guest has of the restaurant and it is critical that it is a good one.

Education/Experience:
No previous experience is required but it is preferred.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as training manuals, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before guests.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be required to operate the Point of Sale computer systems like Micros.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
When in the position of “lead host”, an individual instruct other hosts on duties.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will spend long periods of time on their feet and will have to work at a fast pace. The employee is occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; risk of radiation and vibration.

Pay Rate: $8 - $11/hour based on experience
