Summary: Cooks number one priority is to prepare food to KC Hopps specifications while following health and safety guidelines.

Previous restaurant kitchen experience is required.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as order tickets, training manuals, operating and maintenance instruction and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with other team members and management.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Certificates and Licenses:
Food Handler’s cards where applicable.
When in the position of “lead cook”, an individual may instruct other cooks of opening/closing duties.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will spend long periods of time on their feet and will have to work at a fast pace. The employee will work with knives and other potentially sharp equipment on a regular basis. The employee is occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; risk of radiation and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Pay Rate: $9 - $15/hour based on experience
