Job Title: Bartender
Division: KC Hopps
Summary: Bartenders first priority is to take care of the guest as outlined in the KC Hopps training manual. Must check the identification of guests who order an alcoholic beverage and appear to be under the age of 30. Must be professional, polite and reliable. Must be able to learn and describe food and all alcohol/beer/wine proficiently.

Education/Experience:
Previous bartending experience is not required.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as training manuals, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before guests.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to operate the Point of Sale computer systems like Micros.
Certificates and Licenses:
In the city of Kansas City and North Kansas Ciyt, Missouri, a food handler’s card and liquor card must be obtained.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
When in the position of “head bartender”, an individual must check out fellow team members to manager’s expectations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will spend long periods of time on their feet and will have to work at a fast pace. The employee is occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; risk of radiation and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Pay Rate:
Missouri - $3.63/hour + tips
Kansas - $2.13/hour + tips
