Cato, Inc. was founded in 1960 by Elliott T. Cato in Salisbury, Maryland. His grandson, Michael Abercrombie, Jr. has been President of Cato, Inc. since 2002. The Retail Division includes 29 locations in the three states on the Delmarva Peninsula. We operate 14 - Goose Creek Food Stores, 7 - Arby�s, 4 -Popeyes, and 4 - Subway restaurants from Onley, Virginia to Chestertown, Maryland. We continue to grow and distinguish ourselves from our competitors by exceeding our customers� expectations every single day.
